W1.2 Finding Inspiration for the Posters

Today I started looking online for posters that I find inspirational an enjoyed myself very much looking at works that aesthetically pleased me. I put 3 pages together of works I find interesting, the graphic designer's I used today were Olly Moss, LaBoca, and Malika Favre. It was very interesting to notice that these graphic designers indeed used the many concepts we were taught in class on Friday, such as the Golden Ratio, the colour contrast and the use of symmetry, Asymmetry and Rhythm.

I looked at more artists through the link posted on Studydirect and found many more inspiring artists. I picked out a few and plan to put them into a document tomorrow. Then after that I will start rearranging the poster designs in a more aesthetic way. To make the layout of the page reflect the style of the posters. Since the designs are still quite messy at the moment. I will also start my second homework task tomorrow, and create a document with grids of nine and use colours to play with contrasts and overlap.
